About Me - Lila
A little bit about me…. my name is Lila Holgate and I live in Kuna, Idaho - which is a little community near Boise, Idaho - you know where the Boise State Broncos, National undefeated college team with the blue turf is….. I started rubber stamping probably about 10 years ago when I attended a home stamping party that my oldest daughter hosted. It was a DOTS and I bought a few markers, few stamps and one stamp pad - the rest of the story is just like the rest of most stampers - I started collecting lots of stuff, then I became a Stampin Up demonstrator - more of a hobbist demo - for the discount - didn’t have any problem meeting my quarterly minimums - funny how that works. Today I have a very large collection where one bedroom in the house is dedicated to house my STUFF - I always stamp on our dining room table - no we never eat there - well maybe twice a year.
I am an original Splitcoaststamper Dirty Dozen team member (now alumni) and currently on PatStamps Technique Junkies Turbo Design Team. I taught until recently at a local scrapbook store (closed unexpectedly). I’m currently working on a little of this and a little of that. Updated 5/10/07 Retired my SU demonstratorship. I was selected this week for Linnecards Design Team. opportunities.
I’m married (almost 24 years) to my husband, Scott. We have two daughters - Courtney 23 and Carly 16. Oh ya, and our dog MAX - he really kinda rules the house. I work part-time outside the home for Idaho Dept of Labor as a case manager for dislocated workers. The rest of my time is spent rubber stamping at home, or with friends (especially my friend Kim) or I’m shopping for stamping stuff. We recently have an Archivers open in Boise - boy, may need to start working full-time……. anyway I hope you enjoy my projects. I’m still working on improving my photo skills so I can truly show my work. I do this all for FUN and the love of stamping!!!!
