Easter Blessings
I must admit it seems so unusual that Easter is coming soooo early - We have a couple of Easter traditions. Of course, there are the Easter baskets and little goodies for our girls and the dog MAX!!! We usually have a small breakfast/brunch and then head to my mother’s house for Easter dinner with my brother’s families (those that are in the area) and their kids. Today is no exception. I had a chance last weekend to make some super quick and simple Easter cards to send family and friends.
The above were so simple. I started with Select White (Papertray Ink) as the base, run the next layer through the Swiss Dot Cuttlebug embossing folder (love, love, love that folder). Then a little pattern paper and rub ons from Imaginisce. Some die cutting with my Nestabilities, a little ribbon, and a simple sentiment from Papertrey Ink. Done - all were mailed and should have been received by now.
Hope you are enjoying your Easter Sunday. Enjoy and create, Lila

Lila… sweet! I don’t think I’ve ever made an Easter card. Yours are lovely. Sure wish I fell into that “friend/family” category
Love ya, Sistah!

Oh, these cards are sweet, Lila! I love the soft colors and patterns. They look like the beginnings of Spring!

So cute! I love how you embossed the patterned paper - I may just have to try that idea

Lila, these are adorable! I’m with you on the Swiss Dot folder, I’d like to get that one. These cards are great anyway, but when you added the embossed cardstock, it just took them that much farther-perfect!
