Blogger’s Challenge - Week 25
This week’s blogger challenge was to make a Sympathy card. Sometimes I think Sympathy cards are the most difficult - because the recipient is usually going through a difficult time. I know after loosing my dad and being a recipient that cards can really show a grieving person you care, they are in your thoughts, and they are not alone. For my sample I used Anna’s sketch challenge and really loved this design.
Sample details:
Stamp Sets: Birds Galore (Inkadinkado), sentiment from Heartfelt Phrases (Verve Visual)
Paper: Classic Cream (Classic Crest); Kraft & Groovy Guava (SU); pattern paper Wedded Bliss (Reminisce)
Inks: Niagra Mist, Pink Grapefruit, Wheat (VersaMagic)
Accessories: Taffeta Ribbon, Pretties Kit, dimensionals (SU); Nestabilities (Spellbinders)
I loved this pattern paper it has the slightest shimmer. Again, I really liked using Anna’s sketch - hope you do too! Enjoy, Lila
