EYE CANDY - Basic Grey Style
As predicted I was busy last week with the paid job and even more busy this week. I did, however, get some stamping time in and completed my projects for PatStamps Technique Junkies newsletter/website. The newsletter will be coming out in August - I must say “this is a real treat”. Pat and her designers that put together and write the tutorials have really put together a nice edition for very creative techniques - and you probably have most of the supplies already on hand. Pat is also getting ready to release her next TJ CD with step-by-step tutorials and artwork that reflects true creativity using the techniques. Go check it out.
Now, for the EYE CANDY - PubCalls hosted a manufacturer’s challenge for Basic Grey. The only limitations were to use either Dasher, Fruitcake, or the new Infuse line - they also were really encouraging incorporating their matching fibers. May I suggest, RUN!! Don’t WALK to PubCalls the click on the Basic Grey Album - you are in for a real treat. You may also recognize some of the papercrafting and scrapbooking artists.
Here were my two submissions. I loved this challenge - especially the new Infuse 6X6 collection. I also used my favorite stamp (at least one of my favorites for right now) from Impression Obsession.
Supply List:
Rubber Stamps: Impression Obsession, Verve Verses
Ink: Stewart Superior Palette “Noir Black”, PrismaMarkers and Colorless Blender
Cardstock: Stampin Up
Pattern Paper: BasicGrey “Dasher”
Accessories: Stickles - Yes, I was going a little Stickles crazy on this one!!!

Both cards are stunning, Lila! The colors on the marker-colored card really pop! And then on to the gorgeous paper-pieced card. YUM! It’s so rich with color and texture. It almost looks like this stamp was created to match with these papers!
