NEW, NEW, NEW Stuff
My friend Julee has a BINGO party goin on her BLOG along with a sketch challenge. I’m not able to join in the BINGO because I just don’t have the time right now but I love a sketch challenge. Here’s one of mine.
The above sample uses new stamps and papers I’ve gotten in the last few weeks. The vase and flower stamp is a new hostess set from SU called “Vases in Vogue” and I was able to use some of the new “In Colors” from SU - the new SU stuff will be available to all July 1. I also used some new Fancy Pants pattern paper it matched the new SU colors perfectly. I’m still on my paper piecing kick and stamped the vase on pattern paper, trimmed and overlayed on the original stamped image. Now, I also have a NEW - NEW - NEW sentiment set from a NEW, NEW, NEW company called VERVE VISUAL. I had a chance to stamp with the company’s owner (she’s also the illustrator for the new sentiment set) and wanted to be one of the first to feature her talents!!!!!! She’s still working out a few fine details but the new company should be up and going soon - keep an eye out.
Stay tuned and I’ll have another sample for the sketch challenge later today - just waiting for my Stickles to dry before final assembly. Enjoy, Lila

What a great card! Love the color combination you chose! You always do such a nice job coloring. I really like the new sentiment used, too… can’t wait to see what else Verve Visual comes up with!
