Lisa Somerville’s PatStamps’ Tutorial

Posted in Recent projects at 1:18 pm

Lisa Somerville is one talented stamper - she often writes and films tutorials for Pat Huntoon’s PatStamps Technique Junkies Newsletter. The newletter is available on-line with filmed step-by-step instructions. Lisa contributed “Embossed Pearls” this last issue. Here is a sample I shared with the TJ Yahoo Group.

Basically you take your background paper and paint with PearlEx mixed with gum arabic or you can use Perfect Pearls which already has the binding agent incorporated - let dry.  Dry emboss - now I cheated and used a Cuttlebug folder and ran through my Big Shot.  The flower image is from SU “Heartfelt” and patterned paper is Cosmo Cricket.

I like the look and was really super easy for a unique background.

Enjoy and keep a watch - will have a few more items to share in the next day . . . or so.  Lila
